Anyone have info on bass Lake - Oakhurst CA area

The Family is doing a trip this summer up to Bass lake for a week.
Got to thinking it might be cool to do a little looking around.
I should have an MD by then so I'll be taking it with me.

I will for-sure be doing the usual months of research before going up.
Checking on current claims if any.
Checking on restrictions if any....duh - of course they will be restrictions!!
Checking on the history as well.

I know there was lots of logging up there, but not sure yet about gold mining.

Any input would be great.
