Hey all,

I'm looking to purchase a new detector, does anyone here use a Tesoro and live in PA? If so, how does it work for you as far as soil is concerned?

Thanks for the info

Toby
There is a dealer in Erie pa i can't think of his name now if i find it i will put it up..All he sells is Whites and tesoro's he said they work good in Pa. said but the max depth on them in Pa. is 8 inches i guess that is normal............. I found it he owns Aleks power sports at 15th & Peninsula and carries a lot of detectors every one that Whites and Tesoro makes.he don't just carry a few and show you pictures...............==Jim==

Toby,

I have two Tesoro machines. I have a Compadre and a Tiger Shark. I love both of them. My only problem is that I don't have enough time to use them :D :D :D. I have never had a problem with the soil in PA. The Compadre is a turn on and go detector, while the Tiger is water/beach machine Pennsylvania has a lot of great spots that I would love to check out. If you are looking for a Tesoro dealer, the one that I use is Greater Pittsburgh Detector Sales (www.GreaterPittsburghDetectorSales.com). The guy that owns it is super nice and is very helpful. His name is Harry. Hope it helps.

I think we have several T-Net members in the Warren or Forest Counties areas as well.

[size=10pt]Note: there are several Tesoro dealers on TreasureNet. Harry is the one that I use. I just don't want to give idea that one is better than the others.

Thanks for the info guys!!

I am running a White's Prizm III but I'm looking for something that goes deeper in the soil not my wallet.

I am in NE PA, I am on my third Tesoro. They are my favorite detectors of all that I have used.

It's a ways off yet, but the Susquehanna Valley Hunt
at Winfield on April 19 & 20
will have a Multi line (including Tesero) Dealer & Alot of Tesero users there.
(They usually Raffle off a Tesero also.)
Would be a great way to see & Discuss the Different models
used & which would be best for General Hunting in PA

IF I can get a Copy of the Flyer from Rich I'll post it in Events
This afternoon

That's great, Maybe I can get to the hunt and see what everyone is offering.
