Hi,

I am having the same problem. Tomorrow I am going to Chattahoochee National Forest. It is legal to do recreational metal detecting and you can also pan for gold.
I probably wont find anything but least I wont get busted or shot.

[hombre_de_plata_flaco]

Relic hunting and metal detecting is illegal in every state park in Georgia if I'm not mistaken.

Anyone near Augusta?

[Mattaiyan]

I'm from Augusta, just starting out. Would be sweet to meet up though!

[tomjiggy]

Mattaiyan, I work shift work. Let me know what your schedule looks like and we'll try to plan something. There are a lot of places here in Augusta that have a lot of potential.
