Is there anyway to test this to see the quality? Or does anyone have a opinion on it. If it is just a souvenir piece or better.......I’m pretty sure it is not nephrite

I'm no expert but it looks like jade (jadite) to me. Does it have black specks of magnetite? Gary

Put up to light and see if you can see through it.

Hold a flashlight up to it you should be able to see the light through it . also it will be cold to the touch . A very nice piece, I see no fractures . Whoever carved the piece did a very nice job as jade is very hard

Very nice piece. The jade ive found was of a lighter color, but also have found darker pieces. I tend to collect gems, mostly non precious/semi precious” what I can afford”[emoji23][emoji23]

Might be another.. due to the "black flecks"...

This is good that you can see the light .
