Anyone know silver marks

There is 25 ER scratched in above this to but I can't get the pic close enough to see it seems it was scratched in by hand

Would you know what the 25 ER scratched in is its so small you can only see it with a loop

Is there a 9 in front of the "25"? 925 is a mark for sterling. The CBM&S marks are most likely the company. When I searched "EG/3" some info came up about plating of gold and silver but very over my head (chemistry). What is the piece that the markings are on? Jewelry? Flatware?

No just 25 ER. It's a teapot

Believe your teapot is silverplate - can you post a photo of the teapot itself - style may give an idea on age. The 25/ER is lot number from manufacture.
