I found this at the lake today along with a couple of two and three ringers but not to sure about this one ant guesses? Thank.

Wad Cutter. Modern cast bullet used for plinking, target practice, etc. Inexpensive to mold, load, generally lower velocity, but make nice round "cut" holes in paper targets. Revolver only, not for autos.

Actually, some can be used in semi-autos too - I use that type of bullets for sport shooting with my Benelli MP 90S, then the caliber is called 32. cal S&W Long WC. There is also a semi-wad cutter with a pointed nose, but they can only be used in revolvers. The particular bullet in the picture might be for revolvers only, it does look a little different from the WC ammo we use here in Europe for sport shooting.
