Anyone know what this is? Russian?

I have this decanter, that has a gold crest with double eagle heads, and the cork top is embossed with the same crest. It looks like the imperial russian warrant, but the bottom of the glass has the post prohibition "federal law forbids..." Anyway, any info would be much appreciated.

Hello kitkat,

It's a Smirnoff Vodka decanter from the 1934-1964 period. The design looks Sixties to me. Probably one of their fancy Holiday decanters. It's in great shape.
