Guys--sorry but I just saw your responses. I figured someone would message me directly if interested. It's been so long, I don't recall this lead. Usually it relates to an old swimming hole. I find old photos of swimming holes on ebay (usually old postcards). These are great leads. I just enter "swimming hole" in ebay and it comes up with several good ones all around the country. But, I can't seem to find this lead any longer. Usually I'll post a link when I put something on treasurenet, but I guess I didn't do it in this case.

My father grew up in Redding...Saw this post and remembered him telling me about a robbery where the loot (don't remember what was stolen) was never recovered. A posse immediately caught the robbers but nothing was found on them. An old man told him the story when he was a boy. If anyone is interested I can ask him about it...
