Seems as if weve gotten a warm front this yr as its just wet of and on here in SE, but the temps are stayin nice.

Anyone still hunting the dirt? or is everyone stayin home and researching or CRHin?

I am still searching the water at some lakes. Took a trip to Houghten Lake to try some beaches but they have ice some days so I stay in lower counties. Some rings and many pull tabs, but nothing yet to knock my socks off.

Hey Sandman- 8)I went up to clear Lake and Otsego Lake State Parks before Christmas-didnt find much;froze my ###off;almost -gonna hit Otsego Lake this July-A HUGE,BEAutiful BEACH up there- Headed to Lakeport over Port Huron tomorrow to hunt the dry sand!!... 8)

Im in wayne County, just a bit south from oakland co. .. Canton to be exact.. i guess not many from around these parts.. would have figured there would be more around.. As for me nothing yet , just spots to check.. One of these days a detector will fall from the sky and smack me on the noggin.. <G> have fun guys the weather is great .. best ive ever seen for this time of yr..

I am. In fact, I have been trying to frantically reach my goal of finding a large cent this year before it freezes up. I like hunting now better than in the summer when it is too hot to enjoy it. I just got the DX1 pinpointer for my DFX and I have to learn to use it! Plus, all the wild weeds are dead and you can get into the woods better. I am in Oakland County and I hunt here and Saginaw. I'm hunting in Saginaw Saturday, and Oakland County Sunday! Anyone in Oakland County or Saginaw that want's to hunt, drop me a message.
