Anyone still using an American Goldstriker?

I've had my American Goldstriker for many years now but never hear them mentioned any more. I no longer live in gold country and haven't used it in a few years but am planning on using it this summer. Never seemed to master this detector though. I was wondering if there are any Goldstriker users out there that can share tips for prospecting the deserts of the southwest. Thanks

I never used one but had a good buy on one last winter. ...................So before i got it i checked with Minelab and they told me they do not have all the parts to repair them any more.................Then i checked with diffrent detector repair places i was told about and they told me only Minelab can repair Minelab. ......................So i did not buy it.But from what i under stand you can coin shoot with it...........==Jim==
