Got a heavy german medal of some sort that is gold plated om outside and gray metal on inside.Letters i can see on front say "EINE KONIGIN UNITE" With a trident looking thing or overlapping letters in center.Back "CHAFTISSPIEL"on rim which sounds more like Latin also but center on back sounds german ne die,WAHRHEIT, en..-Der,g? auf den, ndichen, oder down center.Keep in mind that is under each other down center missing half the coin, token or what ever this thing is.

Everything else i got was clad.Including a large pocket spill. And one very heavy brass pipe. All the cool stuff is buried to deep apparently as place was heavily remodeled inside and out during restoration.Even hunted the basement which was mostly filled in with cement.Place dated to 1700's and is even haunted.Hope the medium has better luck this afternoon.

From my rudimentary Norwegian I thought "EINE KONIGIN UNITE" meant "one Kingdom united" but Google tells me it means "A Queen [who] unites" or "a united Queen" so I was pretty close. "CHAFTISSPIEL" is definitely Germanic and not Latin....the suffix "speil" means "game." According to Google "WAHRHEIT" means "truth."

My guess is it's part of a game token.

one heck of a big game token. It is the size of a silver dollar.Interesting

Maybe it's a sports medal or something.....I was just guessing based on the limited text you posted. Go to "Google Translate" and select German as the source language and enter all of the words you can see--that should give you a pretty good idea of what it says. If you post it on the "What Is It" forum someone can probably ID it for you.

It may have something to do with the company behind this beer stein:
Warfteiner German Beer Stein Eine Konigin Unter Den Biere
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Warfteiner-German-Beer-Stein-Eine-Konigin-Unter-Bieren-/330395337152
Don.....

I believe the company is actually called "Warsteiner" as I have had their beer and I believe you can still buy it in the US. This might be the medalion from one of their decanters (pitchers or whatever they are called)...I believe I have seen these types of items that have a medalion hanging on a chain. Nice work Don!

My guess is that this is a sports medal from an exhibition game, sponsored by the Warsteiner Brewery with their slogan on the back. "Warsteiner, a queen under the beers" For translation of the front a better pic is needed.
