Anyone Used A DFX/MXT Eclipse Deepscan DD 1400 COIL

Looking for some input from users, good or bad, experience. I was thinking about purchasing one.

I sold mine I used on my MXT... I got better results using my stock coil... If you are having issues with trash use a 5.3 coil.. the 1400DD is not a lot of fun pinpointing.. Selling it was the best move I made With my stock coil and scuffing the ground as well as sweeping low and slow, I have found mercs down to 14"... I don't need anymore depth than that

I use the 1400DD on the beach.? It doesn't work too bad.? It's REALLY heavy.? Pinpointing is hard at first, but as in any new detector, you get used to it.? I can pinpoint within about 2" of the target now.? Also, don't plan on finding "anything" with a coil this size in a trashy area.
If you are planning on getting a larger coil, I highly recommend the Bigfoot Coil made by Jimmy Sierra Products.? I haven't personally used this coil, but a friend who comes to detect with me has one and it's very light and durable.? I think it's probably a better idea than the 1400DD.? The Bigfoot retails for $229.95, but is well worth it in a "low trash" area (like the beach).? You can cover a LOT of ground with either coil.

Just a note: I also use the Eclipse Shooter DD coil with my MXT in parks and high trash areas. You "might" give up an inch or less in depth, but you miss absolutely NOTHING with this little coil. For park or house hunting, this is the best coil ever made in MY opinion.
