Anything On Garrett's New PI That Might Compliment A New Garrett Metal Detector

It looks like a lot of planning went into this new metal detector designed for mine searching. I bet it is a pretty sensitive little devil too! If Garrett comes out with a new line of detectors, what might you like to include in it, from the characteristics shown below of the Garrett RECON-PRO.

That type of setup is what anyone wants from a manufacturer. No manufacturer ever brings out good standard equipmant. Plus, it would be a good idea to have a mono as standard coil as well.

Looks like having a shaft that collapses like this would be extra nice for traveling. How come everyone else is behind the times?

That would be nice for storage also ...................... ==Jim_K==

The cost is one reason.

The government has deeper pockets than most of us. The detector is built like a tank, ready willing and able, to be tossed into a military vehicle and knocked around, kicked, dropped, then still work.

Most of us generally couldn't afford things designed to mil-spec.
