Hey I've been doing an inventory of all my coins and i did my nickels today. I found a 1957 nickel with no blemishes and a full set of steps. I'm not a numismatic so i have no idea of calculating what its worth. But i would have thought this was a proof coin except its from the philidelphia mint.

Proofs were minted in Philly, not San Fran back then. Post a picture of the nickel.

Sorry guys but I tried and failed to get a picture that wasn't blurry. But if there were Phili proofs Im almost positive its a proof. I looked though some more and found a 1956 with 4 or 5 steps but I don't think this one is a proof.

Usually I'd say there's nothing philly about a proof, but, as them people said above, this proof would be Philly. I don't know about you, but I think Philly had better proof's than the cisco mint did and does currently make. For example you can have a philly cheese-steak or just a cheese-steak. The latter is jus not the same. You can have a philly proof, or just a proof. The latter is just not the same.
