Hi folks! In my effort to pass things on that I no longer have the spare time to do, here's one for the electronically minded. If you know your way around an oscilloscope, this is a great opportunity to make metal detecting pay you back!!
I have been fixing AquaPulse detectors for a few years. I have built up quite a stash of parts - enough housings, main boards, daughterboards, potentiometers, Ikelite fittings and battery cables to build at least 9 AQ1b detectors with parts left over to fix another 8-10 units. I also have 2 8" coils, another half dozen 8s and 10s that need to have new Ikelite plugs fitted. I gots parts! I even have 2 OLD Aquascan detectors that probably need to go to a museum that can go in the mix as well. As a BIG/\$$ bonus, there is a repairable DX-200 handheld magnetometer and a good probe that I will throw in. The board in it looks perfect. I just sold my other one, so I never bothered to work on this one.
A new bare AQ1b is $1250 ish, a coil is $425ish. The new DX300 which is functionally the same as my DX200 is $4K, just the probe is $1000. Ikelite fittings sell as "Minelab Ikelite Charger Adapters" are $80 on Amazon.After looking at this a little more... 9 working Aquapulses are going to be worth $6-800 each. Put 40 Ikelite fitting kits together in 40 plastic bags x 40 bucks on EBay= $`1600 ish. I sold my working DX200 for $1500 a couple of months ago.
The price is $2500 cash, Venmo or Paypal (If using Paypal add another 5%) picked up in Sebastian, FL. If shipped, that's on you and it would be about 50 lbs +/- 10 lbs.

Motherboards and daughterboards of 2005 and newer manufacture
Old style motherboards for the long can units. The long can housing can use either a short or long motherboard.
There are 8 new Ikelite charger adapter fittings here and enough parts to assemble 40 -50 more out of new and used parts. They sell on Amazon for $80 each listed as Minelab Ikelite charger adapter.
Switch caps Ikelite screws, big O-rings for the detector tops, wiring harnesses, washers that go under switches to protect the switches from damage and battery cables.
Switches, potentiometers, knobs and the 53 of the Ikelite couplers that go with the parts in the picture 2 above .
