archaic axe

While using my Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 on a pile of dirt "spoils" dug from around a gas main in NW Ohio,I stumbled upon this axe.I have never found anything this nice before.I got so excited,I forgot to metal detect the pile!
The rest of the street did give up some old wheats and an 1868 Indian,though.

PS.Axe is full grooved with nice bit polish on both sides
