Are these coins silver?

my aunt gave me a huge collection of coins and I found these possible German coins? are the 3 ones that look silver, actually silver?

they look silver and the time range seems like they would be silver, the one is a German 2 mark coin 2 marks back then was almost worthless because German doller was so low back then, i'm surprised they made a silver coin because the silver was probably worth more than the face value.

The large one is a Nazi Germany 2 mark, .6250 silver (but worth more than that to a collector), the two smaller ones are both from the Netherlands, both .6400 silver. The two dark color ones are also from Nazi Germany (zinc), worth very little, and the 1 cent one is also from the Netherlands (bronze). And to treasurepirate1, you are thinking of the Weimer Republic, which ended in 1933. They had a highly devalue currency before Hitler came to power. Neat coins, like to see more!

An often seen misunderstandig, as "goldencoin" also mentions.
The period of "hyper-inflation" only lasted thru the years of 1923-24.

The value of the 2 Mark coin is between $5 - $25 for an absolutely uncirculated coin.
Estimated from the pictures yours would most likely be between $10-15.

There are always KEY dates and maybe you have them too... i know that also Belgian zinc coins could be rare..

They all appear to be good, circulated specimens with the zincs showing no corrosion.

yes 4 silver coins..but probably some aluminium coins could be even more valuable than those silver ones because it is really hard to get old UNC zinc and aluminium due to corrosion.

So smart ones collect them too and those coins are still cheap in market but catalog prices are each year higher..
