Very Nice!
My guess, 23 silvers.
Good Luck!

8 90%ers, 17 40%ers. Great rolls. That's a good month.

Well, I'll go ahead and reveal the total number early because I don't like being deceptive. I just wanted to show u all the pics before revealing the actual number of silver to see if u all might have thought the same as I did when I saw the edges of these rolls. There was a total of 7 rolls, all very similar to these 3 rolls. And just by looking at the edges I would have probably guessed very similar numbers to what u all have guessed. But actually I only found 1 silver in the very last roll. And after the first roll or two I wasn't really expecting to find any silver at all so I was actually kinda surprised to find just one silver keeper in the last roll. All the other dark/silver looking edge coins were just toned clad coins from the '70's - '90's. It's kinda strange how clad coins can tone and have silver looking edges like that. And the obv and rev of those coins had dark tones to them too, it wasn't just the edges. It was as though someone dumped these and was playing an early April fools silver joke on me today. :tongue3:

Well, I don't want to drag this out too much longer but any guesses on where the one silver coin is in the pics? And even though I found it in the last roll, that roll is not necessarily the last roll in the pics.

2nd from the right in the middle roll......I still can't believe that toning!

You asked it like it was a trick, so I had my guesses on the low side (3 40% 1st pic, 8 40% / 2 90% 2nd pic, 2 40% last pic).

My guess is the 11th coin from the left in the first pic.

Third roll, 6th from left.

Sent from my iPad using TreasureNet

Dude thats sucks- sorry

I'd be disappointed for sure. But one is better than none....

I will guess number 39, but it's so sad it's hard to make an intelligent pick. Triple bummer.

Lol, yeah I meant the OP to be vague without stating exactly what it was I actually found. And you're right - the one silver coin (a '67) was the 11th coin from the left (or 10th from the right) in that roll in the first pic. The silver edge is a little more noticeable in that roll but if it had been in one of those other two rolls in the pics it would be a little harder to pick out. I already dumped the coins and I didn't think to take any pics of the obv or rev of any of those coins but they looked like they had been stored away somewhere and somehow for quite a while that gave those clad coins that unusual tarnish/toning.

But like I stated I wasn't too hopeful of finding anything after the first roll or two so finding at least one silver in the last roll was about as surprising as not finding any silver in the first roll or two. Its sure is an unpredictable hobby that seems to keep me guessing most of the time - but that's what keeps it interesting. :)
