On Cape Cod helping out the folks and hit one of Falmouth's many beaches. Finding nothing but change, then a solid 86 on the Deus (dry beach program). Here's what I found in the sifter:



I didn't have my glasses on, but I knew what I was looking at and was trying to keep my cool. There in the sand was another signal:

About now I'm realizing I've just had the rug pulled out from under me, then:



That seals it. If your kids ever went to Pirate's Cove, or any oceanside gift shop, you know what these are. Oh well, at least I had a few seconds of excitement!

On the way back to the car I found one silver ring, so not a total loss:

Several years back I found one once on a beach in Bermuda--very encrusted. Something about it didn't seem legit though, and sure enough after removing encrustation the word "COPY" became visible
