To me, wearing a mask when around others during this pandemic is similar to getting a flu shot for the flu; or a preventative shot for any other disease. "Ain't no big thing." I don't understand a defiant, 'machismo' attitude when it comes to protecting your or your family's health.

About 26 times the US body count is 3,574,371; yesterday's number of confirmed US cases of the virus. Those people have gone through or are currently experiencing some form of hell--some of them will die. I see no need to increase the chance to get it if by wearing a mask it will help me to defend against the virus.

Better hope that one of your friends or love ones never has to go to the operating room, Then you would have to go in and tell them that wearing a mask over surgical areas is not necessary and they can opt to not use them. The same logic there also applies to this C-19 situation. We are all praying that this situation will finally have a proper ending and all will be well again.

I don't know about you, but I have never made an appointment with a Mayor, Governor or President because I was sick or got hurt....I Go To Doctors Who Specialize In What Ails Me. When I got bit by a Brown Recluse, An Infectious Bite Specialist was called in by my MD, He knew he was not qualified to treat the bite and aftermath, which was minimal, Thank GOD. I also don't call my Dr when I have a concern about policies either.

I'll Stick With Common Sense, Fauchi and the CDC.

I live in a rural area, along with my demographic, my risk is low. covid has been here longer than the experts know about. december and january a viral pneumonia came through my area. I got it in January. It was a notable illness. after 13 days I still had shortness of breath, dizziness, sweats, fever. Later when i shared my experience with friends and acquaintances I found out that there were many others with similar experiences.

Frigging mask... I was talking in store for a bit with someone I have not seen in awhile... REAL pain in the arse an the top / tip of my nose was getting worn / raw from mask going up and down when speaking... sweating upper lip... itchy damn lip... itchy nose... cant frigging breath... gotta repeat crap cuz they cant hear you correctly because voice is muffled.

Arrrg.

Personally I think no matter what... everyone will get it... no matter the masks... eventually it has to just "run its course".

You can hide in the desert or the woods... or on uninhabited island... that is the only way to avoid it.

And then... when returning from desert or island.... you will get it anyway. heh

Two eye holes and one big hole in bottom pf really large pumpkin...

Its the "mask / costume / helmet".

Just haven't figured out how to keep that damn candle from cooking off eyelashes and eyebrows yet.
