In fact, he still operates an arrasta for his own mining operations.

Cannot be that old considering the grinding rock is affixed with cable. I'm used to seeing steel eye bolts.

Looks like wire rope wasn't available in the US until 1840s. Could have been any time between then and 100 years after. Can you find the tin can dump? Those are easier to date.
