The poor guy. Had to deal with the morons of the day. They theorized that the coins were given to the old Negro man as a dupe. What gang of counterfeiters is going to give an old Negro man almost 3 hundred dollars worth of counterfeit half dollars dated from 1801-1836? In exchange for what? A song & a dance? Why a 35 year range in dates? Those counterfeiters must have been long-term thinking patient guys.
No matter what you have or find in this life, there are always people out there that want to bust your balls because they didn't find it or earn it themselves. Sad.
