Artifacts Or Plain Old Rocks?

Hi, I know next to nothing about identifying Native American artifacts, but I was metal detecting in a farm field here in Southeast Virginia today and made these surface finds. They appear to be quartz. The larger one is about 1 3/4". They were found fairly close to each other. I'm just wondering if these are in fact artifacts. Thanks

Artifacts indeed! The Rose Quartz piece looks like a Halifax, a commonly found type in your area. The Quartzite piece on the right may be a Halifax also. Nice finds, thanks for the view.Halifax
