Went to branch of my bank that I had never been to today. Asked for my usual $500 roll over in brinks dimes. No problem, glad to help. Also asked just on a whim if they had any halves in the back.
Teller came back and said they had only one $10 roll. I said sure, why not.
Walked out with the dimes and half dollar roll.
Get in truck and decide to take a peek at the half roll. Opened end and there is a 1942 walking liberty. Heart beat increases as I think," Could this be a solid 90% roll?"
Slide the rest of the halves into my hand and about fainted. All were 90%. Three were Walkers and the rest were Ben's. No 1955 tho. Happy, happy happy. Still have to go through the dimes.
Looked like at least two showe up on the top row of one box. This turned out to be a good CRH day.
