I spent the weekend with my in-laws when my wife's grandmother pulled this 1890 Morgan out of a drawer and asked did I knew it's worth. Honestly, I am unfamiliar with the grading of Morgans to put a price on it. I guesstimated it to be about $30, but wanted to come to the pros to get something more definite.

Could someone help me grade this coin for her, and a possible price on it? She said someone offered her $15 for it, which I know is low, so I don't want her to get taken advantage of!

A low grade (G) 1890 O is just a bargain bin coin. $20 in any coin shop. $15 is about what they would pay for one.

Thank you! I had a feeling that was the case. She told me someone offered her that at a swap sale, so I assume it was probably a LCS with a table setup. Makes sense!
