I was walking to a spot with my AT Gold and accidently pushed some buttons and now every time I turn my detector on the threshold is - 9 I think, the sensitivity is no bars, and when I put it in discrimination 1 there are several areas notched out that were not previously notched out. Is there a way to fix it or do I need to send it to Garrett to fix? It is out of warranty. Thank you for any possible advice!

Did you try factory reset? Turn the machine on, then push the on button again and hold it until it beeps=factory reset.
Should do the trick....it it helps!

I'm sorry for the late reply but I'll try that when I get home...thank you so much for the info! I'll let you know if it works!!!

If you bought your unit used and did not get an owners manual it is available online here: https://www.garrett.com/hobbysite/hbby-manuals/1533500_atgold_eng.pdf

Excellent information in it, I found it very useful.

Here is a pic of the button functions:

I hope it fixes the issue.
