AT Gold vs Fisher Gold Bug Pro

I have a friend who is new to MDing and wants a combo detector for nuggets/coinshooting/ghost towning and thinks
waterproofing is a good idea. Besides the waterproof aspect,
1. How do these compare on nuggets?
2. How do these compare on coin shooting?
3. Any thoughts on the AT Gold iron audio.

I vote for the Fisher just because I can't stand the way the AT Gold chatters and burps!

Fisher wins this race hands down on sensitivity and stability. (UNLESS) you're using the 4.5" sniper coil on the AT.. Even so the AT falls behind... (Not saying its a bad detector) I enjoy mine..
The AT has ground balance window option great for really hot ground..

What i know: Time spent hunting nuggets with both machines would be about 60% fisher 40% AT (a few months ago) Found a lot more gold with the fisher than I did the AT Gold..

well I've had a g-2 which is a fisher gold pro in pistol grip configuiration and here's my take like both machines but I think the fisher would have the edge in picking in the iron vs the garret but the garrett will go deeper and on deep targets sounds shallow, but I do like the g-2/gold bug set up better just wish was waterproof
