Fisher wins this race hands down on sensitivity and stability. (UNLESS) you're using the 4.5" sniper coil on the AT.. Even so the AT falls behind... (Not saying its a bad detector) I enjoy mine..
The AT has ground balance window option great for really hot ground..

What i know: Time spent hunting nuggets with both machines would be about 60% fisher 40% AT (a few months ago) Found a lot more gold with the fisher than I did the AT Gold..

well I've had a g-2 which is a fisher gold pro in pistol grip configuiration and here's my take like both machines but I think the fisher would have the edge in picking in the iron vs the garret but the garrett will go deeper and on deep targets sounds shallow, but I do like the g-2/gold bug set up better just wish was waterproof
