I have the option to pick up a garret at gold. I'm just wondering does is have any good advantages. I mainly hunt for coins and relics but who doesn't want gold. Is it worth it at 450$? Mainly I want to know if its good with coins as I expect it to be with good with gold

Yes it is good with coins I have had mine about 8 months and have found over $200.00 in coins with it also 13 rings (2 Gold) (1 Carbide Tungsten)the rest were costume, A Silver charm and a Silver pendant and other assorted costume jewelry. At $450.00 you're getting a deal.

Thank you for the review I am still thinking but thanks again

If you hunt relics, the AT Gold may be the better of the two (AT Gold/AT Pro) as it has the true all metal mode. I often times hunt relics using the 5" x 8" Coil, as it is very sensitive to tiny targets, has great target separation capabilities and can also hunt in fresh water, down to 3 meters or 10ft.
