Found on farmland this week. can't say too much as they are at the BM in London for conservation etc etc, could be even more than 2000 . They all seem to be late 3rd century bronzes with radiate head. unfortunatly wont know much more for quite a long period but will keep you posted.

Hutch.:hello2:

Just trying to understand how the rules work "across the pond", but now do those additional 70 coins need to be turned over to the BM or FLO??

Yes all coins in that area need handing in as part of the hoard.

Well over 2 years now since l found the coins and still no news except that there are over 8000. ... very slow. and not getting any better. all blamed on the corona virus effect. Hutch.

Thanks for the update, must be double that figure at least!

No they are just slow anyway, but the BM are also slow to get back into the building as well. I've been chatting with the Treasure Clerk.

Thanks for the update we saw that news report & wondered if it was yours.
Although I had thought yours would be over 10,000.
What date have they set for the Treasure Valuation Committee?

Congrats on them finally declaring it a treasure.
Great read up on the link (hope you don't mind posting it)
Best wishes on the outcome of the valuation process and hope it doesn't take too long.
Thanks for the update

AMAZING FIND! Kind of makes me jealous that we’ll never find anything like that this side of the pond. Congrats!
