I knew the ground would be mostly frozen but that temps climbed out of the gutter today and I just
had to scratch that itch!

Only went for an hour, was very limited where I could dig. But, ya know what?

Somehow, I'm happy anyway.

Here's the big take:

2015 (61).jpg
2015 (62).jpg

Strange lil moon-like lead ball.

2015 (63).jpg
2015 (64).jpg

Funny how something this fragile could last
soooooooo long in the ground.

2015 (66).jpg

Even found a whole wheat toast! Vintage 1920!

2015 (67).jpg

Somehow, I don't think Blingie was very impressed. LOL

At least I should be able to sleep tonight!

Thanks for peeking!

fun is where you find it, sometimes you have to alter what is classified as fun because of conditions

I have been known to hit a graveled parking lot just long enough to score one clad cent, lol! Ground was frozen solid, but I hunted till I found that one lonely Lincoln that was on top of the ice...just to satisfy the itch. I believe we all know what you mean. I bet that boiler drain blew your ears off. Just imagine if it had been brass!

Yeah. Sometimes we just GOTTA scratch! LOL

And I can imagine what that drain would be like if it was brass, because, it is! LOL I still have a headache! :)

Thanks!

Yeah, the day was nice but what's needed is a string of them! :)

The little ring thing is tiny and I think it was part of a piece of jewelry once. Ones that know
the styles of making jewelry might be able to date the technique. It's a pretty flat oval with a
fairly solid round ring like a connector. Appears to be brass/copper. Maybe, part of a watch chain? :icon_scratch:

I'm assuming it's pretty old and for something that fragile to still be around after all that time. Amazing!

Thanks!

Toasted was the only way the wheat could stay warm!
Congrats on getting out there and digging the frozen tundra!
With a little gold paint on the "ring" Blingie may let it slide!
If he as out there he wouldn't be going any where in a hurry!

I like the pitted ball thing it has character! A life well lived!

A good hunt WHADIFIND Congrats!

I don't know ammunition that well, but that lil ball strikes me as odd. Can't recall
ever finding lead with this crater effect. It is kinda neat.

The lil ring thing, kinda looks like part of a chain type something.

The best thing is that I was able to hunt, at all! LOL

Thanks!
