I can't say if it's hard to adjust to, I've used a trackball at home for years. I've had two Logitech Trackman Marbles in the past 10 years, used a Kensington prior to that.

Yes, I did give it a try. Might be handy if you have a media center set up, but I prefer the ergonomics of my Trackman Marble.
