AT MAX and Garrett Z-Lynk help needed.....

Question, has anyone had this issue. Went for a short hunt today. Got ready or go and the Garret Z-Lynx pinpointer would not pair with headphones. the Max connected right away. Replaced batty still would not connect it worked on sound and vibration, so I continued my hunt. About an hour in, bang it connected. And it worked fine from then on...anyone else ever had this on any other issues......

I've had no problem pairing mine. Maybe you were holding the Z lynk too far away from the headphones. The Garrett instructional video says to hold the z lynk no more than 6 inches away from the headphones and wait a few seconds until it pairs.

I usually get it to link with the pinpointer at 4 to 6 inches.

Just curious... with hot weather here...will the z lynk work on ear pods or other in ear products?
