AT Pro 2: what do we know?

No to the GPS
Screen size is fine, but if you are going to make it bigger then perhaps a clock?
I was going to ask for better connection points, but if you make it wireless then that becomes a moot point doesn't it.
Okay better connection points that would allow you to use standard headset jacks, rather than Garrett's own brand. Plus this would save you money as it would be a universal piece.

I've been toying with the idea of upgrading to a Deus, but that would be a very major expenditure for me (and for most others, I guess). Maybe I'll wait to see what Garrett comes out with. I love my Pro, that's what has been keeping me from taking the $ plunge for the Deus.

Seems like they would want to leak out some data to keep us fan boys in the game.

Instead Deus and nokta Impact steal the headlines and the wallet...

If it is still selling, any new detector would probably have new technology and be positioned as a step up, don't you think?

Yes. I think that would be the right way to position any improved model. Make it another tier up.

From a features perspective it looks good. If I were Garret I would redesign the pod to differentiate it from the Ace and current ATP.

So I was curious and called Garrett... twice. The First Lady in customer service was like sir " we don't know anything it's on our website" I said well that's Obvious and hung up. Second call was just as productive I spoke with some guy not in customer service and he said they are rumors and it would be on our Facebook site if news was released. So they are being very hush hush if one is being planned.
