AT PRO AND AND XP DEUS RECOVERY SPEEDS TEST.

You just compared a Lamborghini with a Nissan Sentra. :)

Love the vids. Keep em rolling...

yeah but I got people saying there is no difference in the sentra and the lamborghini but for us who know better, well the proof is in the pudding.

Technology has came forward and some of the american companys need to step it up,

like to see how t2 do on that test

does pretty good just tested one. It has a fast recovery speed. I just dont like the tones of the t2 and it doesnt seperate quite as good to me with the stock coil.Doesnt give the high squeal on the dime more of a mid tone .

Calabash thanks for sharing. What size coil is on the ATP?
Tom

8 x 11 and I have a nine on the Deus. I will say that when I tested the t2 with the stock coil it out performed the at pro by along ways too.

Trying to learn here. I am new. Would a 5x8 coil help the ATP with this test?

my friend is coming to hunt with me this morning with a 5 x 8 and if we have time I will check.

Thanks the youtube clips are helpful. I am driving my wife nuts listening to all the sounds of the MDs. going over various metals... She told me all she can hear at nights (sleeping) are those da&n beeps. She bought me some headphones from walmart for my computer so she won't have to listen. to them lol

I am just trying to max out on what the ATP can do, biggest thing is me, more than the ATP. I Just needs some hours on it. Thanks for helping
Tom

The 5 x 8 coil did help with the recovery speed ,as it should it doesnt have to look at as much ground less for the machine to process. It performed way better with the 5x8, disregard what I said this morning I wasnt awake good when I posted that.

What I've been sayin for YEARS!!!!

One thing I have learned with the AT Pro is you need to slow down! Of course a $1200 detector is going to have a faster recovery speed than a $595 detector :)

I want to see the Nokta FORS Relic up against the Deus. Looking at one for a very good price.

I dont know anyone who has a relic or I would show what it could do. I made the disclaimer I didnt expect the at pro to contend with the deus, the pro did do way better with the 5x8 coil on recovery speed than it did with 8x11.I had my friend sweep the 12 inch silver coins with the 5x8 coil now here is where the pro has a draw back it will read DEEP non ferrous targets as iron and thats exactly what it did with the silver coins it called them iron. I did not tell him what was in the holes and he said it was iron ,then I gave him the deus and let him sweep the holes and he got a high tone I think he was surprized. The t2 nailed the 12 inch coins too. I was looking at a relic but didnt like the box on it . Do you know what the relic weighs?

I will say this to there are alot of good detectors on the market,I like the Deus for a few reasons. Its so adjustable you can set it up for so many different circumstances its like having 3 or 4 detectors in one. Its a deep machine ,its a trash machine, its a beach machine, its a park machine and, its the best relic machine imo. It weighs 2 .6 pounds, its wireless, it folds up. Its updates are free! It has a 5 year warranty. I dont have to buy 2 or three detectors I can just set the one up for whatever I need. There are a number of great machines on the market today I just like the Deus and like the direction that company is going with technology.

I'm not sure about the overall weight but I believe it balances out very well with control under the forearm. I wound up with 2 ATP's and may trade one for this Nokta. I hated the first AT I owned because I didn't understand detectors in general. Now several years and dozens of detectors later I actually love the ATP. The CORS Fortune (9.5x 5.5) is even better than the Garret 8x5 IMO.
