Hello my buddy just purchased an AT Pro and he needs help with finding a good settings for a newbie

run it in all metal mode and he can notch out the pull tabs and other junk from there

I run mine in pro coin, nothing notched out. Be sure to ground balance it good,

I have the GTI-1500 which is similar. I prefer the Jewelery mode as it should only eliminate pop tops and bottle caps. However, I find that older bottle caps that are somewhat rusted will still show up. It depends on the soil.

I use Pro coin mode and don't notch out anything. I do set the iron discrimination to about 38. I rarely dig any nails. Remember to ground balance. I also use the smaller coil about 90% of the time.
