Just use the coin counter on ur profile page. Its how i keep track. Then, of course, u could just use MS Excel. Hell, even a small MS Access database would work too. Huh, just gave myself an idea. With Access you could make your finds searchable by year, location, or type of find.

Just did a quick google search. There are a few metal detecting apps that organizing and track your finds even by gps. It was discussed here on Tnet and other sites.

Haven't totalled the clad yet, but I'd estimate about $12.00.
3 Silver dimes (Barber, Merc, and Rosie)
4 Silver rings
1856 Large Cent
1867 Shield Nickel
Several older tokens
1 gold plated ring
1 gold plated locket
1 costume jewelry locket
About 10 wheaties.

Forgot to mention the 1905 Indian Head Penny

Don't ever keep count! Jeeese!
What's the use? LLOL

Just save Quarters, Nickels and dimes separately and cash em in
when the jar gets full but to keep a tally! Not me...

BUT I'll always remember the Gold ring, Two Gold charms, Tungsten ring, and other
nicer stuff which I keep separately from the coins... Had the Pro for one month too.
Love it!

y not quit frankley i like to c in the long run if coin shooting ends up paying off for my equipment though i dont hold my breath still cool to c how well u do during a certain point of the season then how ur doin later on when u start to know more of what ur detector is telling u, there are lots of reasons to just know what u have found during a period of time but hey if u dont wanna no ones making ya right just keep doin what makes u happy and thats all that matters

Yeh I never have and never will..

What makes me happy is just huntin, not countin and worryin about
HOW MANY I got! LOL

That's just me...

Thats cool to each is own right as Long as we r all pulling finds its all that matters HH

Note: I used an F2 for my first month, I began detecting on 4-26-13.

Silver: 1 1947 dime, found today

Wheat Pennies: 19

Clad and Copper: $12.67

Rings: 2 Child's Rings

Other Interesting Items: A small cross from a necklace, an I Love My Labrador Retriever Keychain from 1982 (I have a Labrador Retriever), A Cast Cap Gun from the 50's or earlier, a 4 leaf clover coin/charm, a horse shoe, a fmj round from about a 30 Caliber inside a solid chunk of driftwood, a very old, live .22 round in a park, part if a pin that says "be prepared" (guessing boy scouts?) and a TON of pull tabs, shell casings, and other fun stuff!

I'm sure I'm missing some stuff, but you get the idea.

I only been out about 5 times this year and no silver or jewelry but I have $27.35 in clad and about $6 in pennies. Each hunt has netted me over $6 so far this year

So far this year; 1=1784 silver Spanish coin; 3=1939-1944 quarters; 3= Mercs; 1=Rosie; 1=1918 half dollar; 1=1910 V nickel; about 12 wheaties; and countless clad.
