AT Pro settings

We are going to the coast to hunt relics this weekend. Leslie is still learning her AT Pro. Anyone have any suggestions as to what settings she should be using?

Went relic hunting myself today with the AT Pro. I used Pro Zero very little iron descrim. Worked well for me.

The atp is super at revealing multiple targets under the coil (in pro mode). If you get multiple tones that seem to be 1 object it's probably 2 or more. Slow the sweep speed and sweep it from different directions, the minelab wiggle also works with this machine.

I used Pro Zero very little iron descrim. Worked well for me.

Bart is dead on... Increase the sensitvity as high as possible for it to be stable as well. That'll help on the small stuff. I call the AT Pro "stupid easy", there's not too many setting that you can use to really mess you up. Turn it on, go to Pro-Zero, ground balance, and go. Hunting relics you want zero descrimination as much as possible. If you get in a bed of nails, then you may want to tweak iron descrimination up to cancel them out, but otherwise run it near zero.

Play with the Iron Audio too, it'll help!
