I have seen a lot of different documents and videos showing VDI's for various targets, but I have never seen one for a minie ball, what do they ring up as?

low lead range

Here you go:

Should ring up around 70. Just understand several factors can impact the readings. These include depth of the target, orientation of the target, soil moisture, and more important (especially seeing that you are in NoVa) is soil mineralization. Not quite sure where you hunt but soil up near Culpeppper is very hot so it will greatly effect your AT Pro. I have found them on my family land (not hot soil) over the past few years and some ring up in the 60s and some in the 70s. You may want to look at getting a PI machine depending on how trashy your land is. I have borrowed a GPX 4800 from a friend and it has produced bullets as deep as 22-24".
