Thats a interesting find, wonder if its more a burial item rather than an actual hunting tool, seems odd in it shape

I know. I guess every stick technically is a digging stick, kinda like if they don’t know what something is it’s for “ceremonial purposes” 😆. I guess they wouldn’t be experts if they came right out and said they had no clue what it was used for.

It’s definitely some neat finds! The guy that made that atlatl took some pride in his work.

very interesting.
seeing some of different atlatl styles from different area is something I think would be good reading.
i have seen some parts of atlases in collections at the collinsville show.
