Atocha emerald to be auctioned off

An emerald from the Atocha will be auctioned off on Wednesday by Sotheby's in NYC. The estimated value is between $50,000 and $70,000. The gem is owned by Mitzi Perdue, the heir to the chicken company with the same name. Mrs. Perdue will donate the proceeds to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. WTG Mrs. Perdue !! I hope the hammered price is 100k.
