Attention Six-Pack & Others

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

Just got this from Ed also;
Ron: Manza Hale has given me the okay for your group to hunt on his place.
Manza's phone number is . He'll be expecting your call.

I'm not sure how many acres he has but the slough runs through his place. I believe all of it is in pasture and brush.
He can give you the details.
Regards, Ed
This gives us two places for sure. Now to see if the FT Inge comes through.
We're gonna owe Ed something for this.Maybe two jugs of vodka this time.

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

We're gonna need a week for this hunt!! Think I can convince my wife it will be a nice second honeymoon?! :laughing7:

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

I agree with you, we need more time if possible!

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

OK,just got another email from Ed.Some of you guys that know how to get pics from coordinates,here's what we got;

Okay, let's get some clarification.

Using Google Earth, I'll give you coordinates of where Justin and Manza's places are.
The coordinates are a little strange to me but this is what it says:

Justin's house: 29 degrees, 10 minutes 35.68 seconds north
99 degrees 47minutes.06 40 seconds West.
You'll see a bright caliche road running west from FM 117 (Batesville Highway). Then the road goes south and back west as it crosses Cook's Slough.

Manza's place is 29 degrees 10 minutes 19.64 seconds north, 99 degrees, 46 minutes 23.17 seconds west.
You'll see a caliche road running southwest off of FM 117, crosses Cook's Slough and leads to a house.

The place Joanne's trying to secure is a plowed field adjacent to and just south of Fort Inge.
Fort Inge's coordinates are 29 degrees 10 minutes 47.18 seconds N, 99 degrees, 45 minutes 46.19 seconds west.

Fort Inge is indicated on the google map.

The Governor's land is across the Leona River from Fort Inge and WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE.

Hope this gives your group something to savor.

I don't know what the four numbers following the minutes and preceding the seconds means, but that's what the map says.

We could probably go sooner except it would be very hot down there!

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

That's a good call Ron. I got plenty of 'hot' over here in N. FL!

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

I might be able to bust loose for a few days. I have a daughter living in the Austin area. Is that anywhere near Uvalde? I think I remember seeing a road sign last time I was down to visit that said Uvalde that away? Don't recall which way that away was though? Monty

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

Monty,Uvalde is straight down to San Antone, then 80mi west. But come on along.

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

And San Antonio is about 90 miles south of Austin...
Baggins U6P

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

I was in San Antoneio over spring break and that's probably where I saw the roadsign. Monty

Re: Attention Six-Pack & Others

what will be the date?
