Not exactly a garage sale find, but a good one anyway. Went to a household auction a couple weeks ago and bid on a set of sterling flatware. My competing bidder ran out of money at $265.00. So for $270.00 I bought it. Shipping it tomorow for $1830.00 and they are paying the freight. Moral of the story, never go to a garage sale or auction with empty pockets. Also got my check from my booth at a flea market today for $948.00, got a silver dime in change at lunch!! Think I'll buy a lottery ticket.
