I'm kind of surprised that the auction company doesn't have any kind of rules (or that there isn't some kind of law) against selling human remains. Heck, I think eBay and Craigslist even have rules against that sort of thing.
 
Being former military, I know for a fact that military remains are not to be "sold" or disturbed, It makes no difference what war or country they are from, I would like to know who the auction house was?
 
I'm not sure... it may have just been something like an estate auction. Although the guy who has had it in his possession this whole time is still alive, so I dunno.

Two questions: Who would buy a skull? And what would you do with it? Put it in your curio cabinet and show it off to house guests?
