Audio differences on the 600 vs 800?

I am considering purchasing a 600 but I read there is a possible audio difference between it and the 800. I like the 2f setting on my f75 where iron is a low grunt and anything above is a higher tone. Just wondering what the 600 offers since I have no need for those higher frequencies.

Sounds to me like the 600 will have something similar to a two tone feature which suits my dig it all at old sites process.
