Augusta, GA dumpster diving newbie

New dumpster diver in Augusta...looking for advice on good places to hunt for the good stuff....so far Gamestop has been the only store to yield results....and it was only empty gift cards. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I just went out tonight, but mostly because I need hangers and stuff for displaying things. Augusta seems to be to often be a tough spot for diving. I did find a giant box of Splenda behind a sporting good's store, and it looks like several of the dollar stores are currently throwing out ridiculous amounts of chocolate (the one next to 2nd and Charles, but if you go here go during early morning light because their back area is in devastation with holes in the pavement and areas of concrete that look Hulk-smashed enough to swallow a car). A digging friend who recently passed liked convenience stores -- lotto tickets that people threw out b/c they thought they lost but they actually won but were too drunk or dumb to see. Most he won in one day's dive: $100. Local police caught on and threatened to arrest him so he stopped. Died a couple of months later. He was 72.
