Hi,
I'm taking a 13 year old autistic child out and am looking for a place near Mt. Laurel NJ that might be a good jump off point. I will toss my own coins, just looking for an area that might not be over hunted.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Maybe start with a good sized wood chip or sand playground where planting coins and digging them up is easy.

That's going to be a huge thrill for the child!

any play ground with equipment and you should not need to seed the area . sounds like great fun

I'm curious to see how this goes my son is 15 and has autism he sometimes will swing my machines in the house over coins. He is taller and stronger than me at nearly 6' and 225lbs but he still struggles with the back and forth movement. His interest usually stops after a couple minutes. I would try a playground as well and you may ask he may not like to touch dirt, sand, or bark so depending on the child just ask..

Good luck and HH.

An old park or swimming area . Have fun Good luck as well just doing some detecting will be a blast

Since you are going to toss your own coins, you can just about go to any park you want to. Try looking for one that has a sand volleyball court. That will be easy hunting for the youngster, and it will be sure to give him / her a lot of fun. Easy digging / sifting also.
