I guess i was the only one on ebay this day, listed under somthing off the wall not nothing to do with indian artifacts. 19 bucks only bidder. its awesome flint ridge, 41/2in. iron deposits in the notching and a nise patina all over. should i restore the base. i think i should since its not a personal find. thanks

Definitely a big REAL piece of OLD 'Ridge. If you place a piece such as that next to many of the big ridge doves that are out there it quickly becomes apparent just how many of them are fake. Are the other points finds of yours?

Definitely a nice dove and you stole it at under 20$. I read somewhere that it is estimated that 90% of dovetails over three inches in trade circulation are repros.
