had a great hunt on Sunday at a new permission. I've been trying out Deus Hot on 4.0 KhZ and the 11" coil to try and find all the goodies that the higher frequencies might have missed. My first hit rang up great and was only about 5" down...I filmed the "extraction" that turned out to be an 1812 Large Cent (large date i believe). This is the second 1812 I have found but the first that isnt holed. I then found a few flat buttons, watch winder, a brass cap from the pole of horse buggy, and then a toasted 1833 Half Cent. I am going to try and get some of the verdigras off of the 1812 with a toothpick when I get the chance to go buy more. In the meantime, it soaks it distilled water and get the occasional rubbing of a wet q-tip until no dirt comes off. Photos below as well as the video of pulling the 1812 out of "sitchu".8-) (not sure how a thumbnail of my ws5 headset got uploaded but I cant remove it for some reason)

That large cent is beautiful, the classic head is one of my favorite copper designs ever!

Congrats on the old coppers and relics as well. Awesome hunt indeed!:headbang:

That 1812 is in good shape

That large cent was pristine when it went into the dirt! AU or better details (environmental damage) PCGS :) PS Do not clean it! It is absolutely perfect as is. And more valuable :) Seriously I may be preaching to the choir but but do not clean it. Fabulous coin

Man, those look great, especially the 1812. Hell, the 1833 looks better than the 1933s I find!

Yet another bunch of great finds from Mass- not many states like ours out there- Congrats!

Well done on the copper, it's always great to get positive results using a new program.
I would have ID the cap is off a cane tip/walking stick instead of buggy pole.

Very impressive finds. Congrats!

Congrats on the nice coppers and other finds

My exact first thought too but some research seemed to point towards buggy
