I picked this up at the thrift store today for $18. It is signed J. Nielson with a JO Krumbholz Fine Art Milwaukee on the back and in a period frame. According to AskArt he was John Nielson of Wisconsin and was born in 1881 and died in 1954. He was an Art Institute of Chicago student and was listed in Who's Who in American Art. The photo does not do it justice. This one is a keeper but unfortunately there are two small spots with paint loss including one on the chimney. Here are some of his exhibitions
